About Patience Hand of Compassion

Welcome to Patience Hand of Compassion (PHC), a beacon of hope, love, and transformation in the heart of Uganda. The Organization’s primary focus is to demonstrate the God kind of love (Agape) practically by providing basic needs like food, household items, clothes, and scholastic materials depending on the specific needs of the groups visited. PHC takes a targeted approach, identifying groups in need in different communities.

PHC was born out of Nabaasa’s deep-rooted passion and her childhood experiences with the grace of God. her unwavering belief in being called to this ministry is evident through the fulfillment she finds enriching out to those in need.

During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic when hunger was devastating communities, PHC was officially registered to operate and provide much-needed assistance.

Mission Statement

At Patience Hand of Compassion, our mission is simple yet profound: to change lives and transform destinies by demonstrating the God kind of love (Agape) in practical ways, providing unwavering support and care to less privileged orphans in Uganda. We believe that through our actions, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to emulate God’s boundless love, reflecting His compassion and kindness in all that we do. We are inspired by the words of Mark 12:30-31, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'” We believe there is no greater commandment than these, and we strive to embody this love in our work.

About the Founder

Patience Hand of Compassion was born from a place of humility and gratitude.

The Passionate founder Patience Nabaasa has been blessed with a life where she has never lacked for anything. Family and friends have always been there to support her, both financially and emotionally. Most importantly, she attributes her abundant blessings to the love of her God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

This same God, who loves unconditionally and without reservation, has been a constant presence in Patience’s life, despite her imperfections. It is this love, devoid of reason or condition, that has inspired her to extend love and care to others. She aims to bring smiles to the faces of those in need, to alleviate their suffering, and to remind them of the boundless love of God, a love that knows no boundaries.

At Patience Hand of Compassion, we believe that this project belongs to God, and we are merely stewards of His mission for a season. Our primary goal is to ensure that everything we do honors Him. We strive to act in a way that reflects God’s love and never engage in activities that would dishonor Him. Our ultimate purpose is to change lives, transform destinies, and impact generations in the name of Jesus Christ.
